-Students, I first want to thank you for your interest in
one of our ministries. As you know we have had tremendous
growth in our student ministry and as a result of our growth,
we have had a number of students who have surrendered to future
full-time ministry. These students, as well as many others
of you, have expressed that you would love to have an opportunity
to be trained in many Biblical disciplines that are simply
impossible to do in a large group.
I would venture to say that many of you have never sat in
a real Bible class where Biblical disciplines are taught with
great passion and depth. Because of your desire for training
and our desire to raise you up in Biblical knowledge and literacy,
we have created the Refuge Bible Institute.
This
year we will only be offering one course. The course that
we are going to provide is entitled, “ We Become What
We Worship: A Biblical Theology Of Idolatry”. This class
will focus on the permeating theme of idolatry in both the
Old and New Testament, and the result of idolatry on its participants
and culture.
The
class begins May 25th, and will be held every Tuesday.
The location where classes will be held is Calvary Hill Baptist
Church and the time of the class is still to be determined.
The cost is $35 which includes books.
